A cap in need of repair

Please see the Fishscaled cap on the Parker 41, a split right down the center.

Any ideas on whether this could be repaired?

Depends how much you want to spend. Pretty much everything is repairable... However, in my estimation, I would say stick a fork in that one, it's done. Repair on that cap would exceed it's value.

Thanks for replying Rick, I was coming round to that thought too, its a pity because you dont see that cap everyday, in the UK at least.
