The First Pen I Ever Collected (But Not Used)

Every pen that I have collected was with the intention that it would be restored and used. Some might only get dipped and some may spend a long time between rotations. But, I never purchased a pen that I intended to keep pristine and unused. Until now. I couldn't resist this mint, Blue Ribbon fountain pen (by National Pen) with box and papers. It probably dates from the late twenties and may very well be unused. The color, as David would say, pops. I removed the papers in order to scan them and the fountain pen has a new silicone sac to help ensure the color remains this good for as long as possible. Here are a few photos:

That's a nice one. I sold a Blue Ribbon set some time back that wasn't quite as nice but, better than the picture.

Believe at home I have Jade OS Flat-top National-made Diamond Medal and Gold Bond (or Gold Medal). Will try to post images by next week.
