Last month I bought a Sheaffer Salesman's Case on eBay. It came complete with:

Two Targa Classic fountain pens, steel nibs
Two Targa Slim fountain pens, 14K nibs
Three Targa ballpoints
One Targa pencil
One TRZ ballpoint
One TRZ pencil

All ten writing instruments appear to be mint NOS and are unblemished. Here are some pictures. The red case in two of the pictures is one that I already had and it fits nicely in the unused space.

So, there were no other bidders and I got the works for the opening bid of $250. Am I sumgai?

Nice find indeed, and very good overall deal with pens, etc. ;)
I am just wondering if the long narrow 'box' inside the case, beside the inner boxes of pens, and underside of the handle is for inks?

The "long narrow box" just inside the handle seems to be a spacer, I have not been able to find any way to open it.It also serves to anchor the ribbon which is the only easy way to lift the bottom case to get it out of the larger case. If you don't leave the tail of the ribbon on top of the smaller case as shown in photo 2, then you have to turn the whole thing upside down to get the smaller case out of the larger one.
