Hi,Any idea why this item sold at such high price ?

I have never seen such item but $222 are too much for a notepad! cc

I own one of the purses. We figured out bit back they hold Petit Balance sets. To find one in box with papers, essentially mint with pens is.... very unusual.

Well, this item is rare and it had its matching Sheaffer box so it doesn't get better than this. I considered $125 and found it impressive that it went over the $200 mark. I've never seen another one quite like this one. It is in the general vein of the penvelopes that Sheaffer put out about the same time that the one that sold would date to - early 1930's depression era.

I don't recall this thread but, yep there's another one. Still very uncommon and nice as it is well marked as Sheaffer.

Thanks for sharing, hopefully this price will attract more sample surface Posted Image. In fact, i have never seen such wallet before, Should pay more attention next time.

Was this wallet shown on any AD ?
