Up for a new home is a beautifully kept 1950s celluloid Montblanc 146G OBB, which has the early ski slope ebonite feed, a clear yellow-orange long ink window, and of course, exhibits the lovely semi-flexiness Montblanc nibs of that era are so well known for.

I got off a fellow penmate who had this very pen serviced by Francis Goosens and didn't use it until it came to my possession, where it was inked only twice and kept away since.

Other than a few minor usage marks, a light ding near the ink window and a slight transparency near the end of the piston knob where the black celluloid paint has worn off, the pen body is glossy and black. The ivory star is clear and pristine, unmarred by ink. Cap rings are tight and not spinning. The gold furniture is shiny still, except for some slight brassing near the clip top.

Imprints '146G' and 'OBB' is strong and clear, with a hint of its original gold paint still on. Piston seals are strong, and sucks up a ton of ink. The pen and its rare original OBB 14c nib is a beautiful wet writer, and flexes with ease.

Asking for USD620, free shipping to anywhere in the world. Please email peebrainy@gmail.com for enquiries. Thank you!
