Our local DVD rental store now has an antiques store embedded within, and today when I asked the manager if she had any pens, she produced only three: a Conway Stewart Dinkie, a Vacumatic Debutante, both of which I passed on, and this, which I did not.
Engraving on the cap reads :"SWAN" S.F.2 and on the end of the barrel is 2 S.F - FINE.
It was in a very dirty state and had an accommodation clip covering the vent holes, but after a couple of hours' work it has come up quite nicely, I think. A very flexible nib.
Am I right in thinking this pen would have been made in the 1930s?
