I was told that he was hesitant to pull a pen out of the group, as the cluster was appealing to him in its entirety.
I didn't miss a beat, "OK, then, how much for the whole thing?"
After a pregnant pause, I added that I in fact was serious. Hey, one never can have too many nice pens, right?
A price was quoted. Cash exchanged hands.
Here are the pens, Sheaffer Targa, Parker 61, 65,75 and more.
The pen marked by the exclamation point below?? I don't know what is that one. A short thin Parker that looks to me bit like some of the English Lady Duofold pens that have hooded nib like a Parker 51. Any help would be appreciated on ID'ing it
The other half of the pen case is nice, too.
As we were wrapping up, he mentioned that he had one more pen of this sort, but that it was only half gold-filled.
You might recognize it, below.
What could I do? I bought it too
The message remains my usual.
It pays to get out from behind the computer and get out to the pen shows.
Thanks for peeking
Regards
David
