Bob Tunnicliffe's Conway Stewart 60

Robert "Bob" Tunnicliffe was born in Nelson NZ in 1894 and worked as a schoolteacher and farmer before the Great War. He was shot in the right thigh during the 1918 Spring Offensive while serving with the NZ Rifle Brigade. After the war he returned to NZ, raised a family and even played for the All Blacks in 1923, scoring a try against New South Wales. He was presented this pen by the Karamea Returned Servicemens Association in 1955 and died in 1974.
