Barclay 1304 with Ripet gold nib & exposed accordion filler

Barclay 1304, serial number 810 opened to show hidden ink view window at the end of an accordion filler 14k Ripet nib. It is next to huge Mont Blanc 149, extremely oversized Armando Simoni Club Bologna Extra and a normal sized Wing Sung 601 (same size as the Parker 51 it mimics.) These are the pens in my regular rotation this week and I've been using mainly the Barclay and the Wing Sung. All of these pens are joys to hold and write with. The Barclay and Wing Sung are exceptional values at opposite ends of the luxury spectrum. The Barclay is hallmarked silver vintage pen with some of the most beautiful engraving I've ever seen on a pen. At the time of this writing you can find them on eBay for $250-$300. A comparable sterling pen by any other brand would be double, triple or more. The Wing Sung is an extremely inexpensive, new (in 2018) copy of a vacumatic Parker 51. It writes extremely well for the price and feels much more expensive than it costs (about $15 on eBay.)
