Just a quick question about Parker Penman ink... Is there any difference between UK and US Parker Penman ink? Did the production periods differ? I've got a bottle of UK production Penman Emerald on the way, so I'm just curious if it is indistinguishable from the US version.

In my experience, I have found differences between Penman inks from the same country, and huge differences for the same ink in different pens.
I wouldnt worry too much about UKv US production, the Emerald will still pop off the page.
