Last week when we got together for our Pen Club meeting in Syracuse, NY David Isaacson brought his wonderful Rarest Wahl. It's a.... Really a beautiful pen! I have a smaller one that I inherited from my Mother. David photographed it for the last Stylus Magazine.

He also brought his Sheaffer Repair workbook from 1947. Fascinating! All types of data on old Sheaffers from the 1920s on into 1947. Fascinating data such as Vacuum fillers being discontinued in
September 1945 for certain lines. No doubt this had to do with the Second World War being over and rubber for sacs was suddenly available again.

It's a really stunning piece to see in person, even in lousy overhead lighting!
