Sheaffer produced "Autograph" pens with solid gold cap-bands and clips. Here is an oversized Balance Autograph. Note the cap- band, wider than that found on pen with typical gold-filled band.

I've seen but a couple over the years of the following, but was happy recently to find for my own collection a very scarce "uber" Autograph, a Balance Autograph OS with extra-wide cap-band, wider than the typical already-wide Autograph band. This is a true rarity, and its anomalous nature adds interest.
