Hi All,

This may be a silly topic, but I'm curious as to what other people use to put prices on their pens at pen shows. I've used barbell tags, jewelry string tags, P-Touch labels...and many of them get in the way of the pens when they are all lined up in trays. Is anyone happy with what they use...and why? Can you get all of the info on small tags. I have a mind like a sieve and cannot remember pricing...so, I have to depend on something written and attached to the pen.

Thanks,
Michael Quitt

Hate the tape labels wrapped on pens. Hard to remove and tend to hide things. Don't like the adhesive paper dumbbell tags. Hard to remove. Optimal in my view is the plastic snap dumbbell tag. Sharpie writes on them. Isopropyl swab removes the writing for reuse. Easy to attach and to remove

Hi David,
Could you post a link or the name of a supplier of these?
Thanks!

I like those hang tags on threads although I would expect they might cost more than the others mentioned.

But the best of all is a tag that is easily viewable by a possible buyer. Not just for pen shows but overall I wish that the price was easily viewable. I would rather not waste a sellers time asking to pull pens jif knowing the price up front would stop me.

I use the Tyvek brand pricing tags model TA7103
I purchase them from an online jewelery supply shop (JewelrySupply.com)
They come 1000 to a box and are rather inexpensive ($6.60) and since they are tyvek they do not tear.

They are a dumb bell style... but the narrow center is glue free so they do not stick to the pen and fit very well on the pen clip..
Here is a picture of them in use on some 51s, I use a fine or ultra fine sharpie to write on them...

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check Made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

I keep a few copies of my price sheet on the table so customers can just pick them up and look at prices if I am busy with another customer...
That is why my pens are numbered and not priced on the tags....
