At the Ohio show I picked up a Parkette Deluxe Burgundy slender pen with a ring top. No date code but its like those listed in the 1937 catalog: white band at the top, three golden cap rings, two -tone 14k Parkette nib. My question: How anomalous is it? No ring tops appear for Parkette in the 32,34,36,or 37 catalogs. Thanks, Jack

Hi Jack (never say that on an airplane),

N I've put together extensive info on the Parkette, and in fact bought a large collection years ago from a Chicago collector, a collection that included some off-catalogue colors The webpage I made for it (practice run for a print chapter), I have not perused in some time, but it is still online. It needs trimming and takes some time to load due to copious images. You are welcome to peek

David's Parker Parkette Chapter

That said, at least sitting watching Big Bang Theory and munching BBQ sticks from Gan Asia, I believe I've not seen a Parkette ringtop or reference in Parker paperwork to one.

Please do post image. We can discuss further. This is a potentially... interesting... find.
