I'm not sure how good an idea it is to be putting old info out there again. The Wahl gaff that it came from Japan is one such example as I'm sure no one would write that today but, if you are simply reprinting the past now we have a new reference to old bad data. Looks like a nice magazine but, without updating the content for republication on the internet it lacks what it could be.

Sometimes the reviewers can be a bit... cranky ;)

I'm happy to see the magazine and like the photos and layout. I wish you well with it and will enjoy reading it.

While Roger certainly has a point that using the latest information taking care to avoid erroneous old information are important things, I also note that not all information is known to everyone at all times. It is possible and not evil to to make mistakes or to have incorrect old knowledge. Certainly if there is online forum available to discuss any one article, corrections can be brought forth from the community. Let's bring out the old info, not beat up those who might know less than we do on some key (or esoteric) point ;)

regards

david

Hi,

Maybe you have not read this point:

History may repeat itself, but Penna Vintage only repeats the best. In each
issue we'll be featuring articles that
originally appeared in Penna magazine that focus on the key figures of the
fountain pen world and the inventions
that have changed the way we write. Reading these articles in light of more
recent contributions might even point
the way ahead.

It's a magazine side to compare the old information with the new information, also I think we are enough old and smart to understand everything
infact this side is called ONCE UPON A TIME ON PENNA.

Also, it's the normal way for most important magazine

Best

Riccardo
