Apparently when they interviewed my daughter about her photography (I mentioned this a few months ago) the editor looked at my websites and kept me in mind for a future article in the Lifestyle section of our paper..
The Herald Mail in no NY Times or Washington Post, but it is the primary news source for our section of Maryland....
Here is a link to the story and a link to the photo set...
A right way to write: Hagerstown man collects, restores fountain pens

So now your famous ( or less unknown !!..pity it didn't come with the "rich" part though...) do we have to call you MR Old Gris? As an aside has it led to any inquiries re pens or repairs?

You don't have to call me Mr... Sir will do just fine
As for new business... it has.... I have had inquiries for a couple of repairs and 2 possible sales.... so let them scratch as long as the money comes with it...

Skills in pen repair are learned over years, and it is nice to hear you have quite the knowledge in this regard. I am still learning with my limited abilities when it comes to repairs, and always look up to those who are my "betters" in the field.

Too bad Richard Binder is hanging up his tools in June for repairs; I remember the great news video done at his shop and how well it was received by all. I recently had a podcast with the Fountain Pen Geeks as I was "Geek of the Week" which was fun to do. Eric of the FPG and I are talking about doing a series/monthly interview too.
