A little show and tell from a good, second tier maker.

This is a Patriot. The model was made during WWII, some with elaborate cap jewels representing the different branches of military service.
This one is a generic olive drab. The pen fills with a plunger that usually needs re-building after all these years.

Going back a few decades, here is a modest Tourist model in BCHR.

Posted Image

While that may have been carried by a low-key business man, this Big Red wannabe
Tourist was more likely seen with someone in the arts.

Here's a nicely detailed little ring-top.

On a totally different scale, this full size Tortoise Flat-Top. Tough color to photograph.

Pauk Erano shows this cigar in his Fountain Pens Then and Now. He calls the material Vanadium, but the barrel is imprinted SILVER CHROME.

Apparently Morrison like the model enough to do it in GP, although they did take the time to redesign the clip.

Here's a charming filigree ring-top set.

And finally, this full size silver filigree set that arrived a few days ago. (What looks like brassing
is just my refection.)

Hope you enjoy.

These are your recent finds? Wow!

I've got a black Tourist that I don't use much -- stiff, steel nib -- but I also have a clone of the orange one you posted that is one of the nicest writing pens I've ever had. I made the mistake of leaving on my desk one day and a co-worker picked it up to leave me a note, and jammed the nib into the cap at an angle and bent it 90 degrees.

But Mike Carter was able to return it to normal so I'm a happy camper again.

My only other Morrison is a Patriot with the RAF roundel. It is also an excellent writer.

Thanks for posting these! The tortoise shell looks like it would be fabulous in person.

I really enjoyed all those Morrisons. I don't believe I have ever seen one before.

I've been impressed with the Morrison's I've had come through, I have a mirror to the sterling silver in your last picture that unfortunately has cracked the barrel next to the section. Lovely writer, now to find a replacement barrel...
