We've chatted a bit before that Moore documentation tends to disappear as we head into the 1930's. Some nice late-style pens have little-to-know info.

Wonder off hand if anyone has Moore paper for this

No papers that I"ve seen, I'm afraid. This clip is mid-late 1940s, while the "twin peaks" nibs were late 30s and into the mid-40s.

But all that's off pretty sketchy 2ndary documentation.

Hi Ross,

Thanks for sharing your view on this. While no doubt there are quiet collectors out there with some massive knowledge and collections (right?), I figure if you and Rob Morrison are unaware of Moore documentation for something, such documentation very likely is utterly lacking to the hobby on the whole :)

That said, I recently acquired some killer documentation for this pen, my ulterior motive for seeing if the big Moore guys were up on it already.

As the info is fairly brief, I will perhaps publish it as a PENnant page in an issue or so, rather than "wasting" such a key find on the ol' internet.

A lucky find no doubt.

Basically, i stumbled onto a retail store catalogue page attributed by seller to 1939 (i failed to get copy of catalogue opening pages presumably with the printing date). Glorious glossy page. Crisp illustration. Clear nib shots. A disturbingly familiar series name. Prices. Colors. Sizes. one of the best $8's or so I've spent lately :)
