I believe it's some variant of the "Samurai Gathered". I can't tell you anything about the LE, sorry.

That's a Zoom nib, which changes width depending on the angle of writing.

Thank you! I have no idea what these pens are, or what they are worth.

Greg, based on your photograph, looks to be an earlier full size 1911 ribbed
flat top with anchor logo cap top Naginata Togi..Zoom nib. Incidentally, each
pen is hand lathed, not injected moulded. Re the numbers on section, perhaps
a vendor had them made{?}..

Well, take into account the fact that this is not *quite* the same version of the pen, but this may help you figure out what it's worth.

Thanks for the additional information! I had not idea this pen was hand made, and not injection molded plastic because it looks so much like that.

Would love to sell it to someone who can appreciate this pen for what it is.

Thanks! It reminds me of the Waterman's 100 year pen, but a lot more stable plastic for sure Posted Image

You suck.

Some day I'll be sitting home, just refreshing the page, and you'll happen to post something incredible like this, just while I'm there. Yeah, right. And something about pigs and wings...

:D

The combination of older model and limited edition is making this a tough game to play. I couldn't find the exact pen.

This is the closest current pen I can find. There's some obvious differences. Your older pen has Maki-e on the cap as well, and doesn't have the (to my eyes) awkward bump in the middle. 105,000 yen is just a shade under $1,200.

MS is "Music", though you probably could have guessed that from your writing sample.

I guess I don't "suck" anymore now, do I?

I hope not.

Thank you!

I SO would have bought the Zoom.
The second one is gorgeous but beyond my grasp. It's nice to glimpse them, though!
