He's still trying to scam people, one of the members on the FPN saw my post about Cifani in the "Brandon is Back" thread and sent me this:

Hi,

After my post here ( http://www.fountainp...randon-is-back/) I just wanted to send you some more informations about Brandon Cifani, that I hope, could be usefull to you and other people to avoid problems.

He bought me a pen on Ebay (with his new profile : reviewerjeff). As I didn't know who was hidding being, I didn't pay attention. He paid me the pen correctly, using a Paypal address at the name of Yvonne Cifani (yvonnecifani@yahoo.com) and after receiving the pen, claim for a refund, giving me different false informations (pen arrived broken, cap has unscrewed during travel and nib has been bend, pen hasn't been properly discribed, ...).
After a few hard exchanges of message (he had started a claim on Ebay and Paypal) he told me he was spannish and his real name was Brandeno Rudguro (!!!!!), and many other lies.
His postal address (where I sent the pen) is : 485 Lakes Edge Dr / Oxford, MI 48371-5226

He has stop his claim now (as I didn't want to refund him of course, and that I sent him the links towards the internet pages you made about his misdeeds, and told him I knew who he was).

I really think this boy is mad, ... insane, ... crazy.

Hope this can help you somehow.

regards,

Thanks for adding this information. I've added "reviewerjeff" to my blocked bidders list as I've had issues with BC in the past.

You will not have to worry about him using that ebay username anymore, he was just kicked off of ebay.

I read your descriptions as him being an out and out fraudster committing an illegal act that should be prosecuted.

I'd suggest asking ebay's security department if they would please contact the DA's office in his town to prosecute him -- or to at least see what help ebay security can be to you. Or, at the least, to file a police report to get it on the record. Sometimes, just having a police office make a note in their system and calling him (and his mother, since he obviously used HER Paypal ID) make help.

For those folks who've not seen these acts as criminal, I hope that you'll change your mind now.

I was looking at new Waterman listings on ebay and came across this. Take a look at the last sentence of the description. Looks like BC almost struck again.

A real shame. He could have used the safety pen overlay. Initials BC.

It would be interesting to keep an eye on this auction. As we know, Brandon has demonstrated through his lying and lack of ethics, that his criminal activity will not be stopped. He will more than likely make a new account making the purchase and may or may not scam this dealer.

We know this compulsion that he has for nice shiny objects is great and is great enough that he will strike again.

Edited to add.

The auction has ended. Has Brandon purchased these items once again in some way whether legal or illegal?

Backfire on him finally? Did he have another buyer pay money to finance (promised) pens/parts? Attempted to pay seller on e-bay w/funds from 1st buyer thinking he'd have the parts? Transaction null because had been given the boot off e-bay?

Oooops!

No product to send first buyer.

Surprising, but, I saw this thread today (01/29/14). I hope that Brandon is out of the pen community. We dont need bad eggs like him spoiling it for everyone else. BTW, if anyone has been victimised , contact the Oxford, MI., Police or the Oakland County District Attorney's Office. They are  strict with criminals in that County.

He's back.

Good friend Lisa Miyako (ethernautrix) wanted to make a post here, but there will be a delay as her membership is approved. I am helping out by pointing to a thread she started at FPGeeks earlier today: Brandon Cifani is do.char on eBay

Read her post, it says it all: she has discovered that, once again, he is proving to be... what he always has been. I don't know what else to say, just check that post until she is approved here. I suppose "once a scammer, always a scammer" isn't too far off base.

Well, it certainly seems clear from Lisa's post, which I linked to.

That's why we're here.  Better visibility ;)

Even FPN didn't actually see fit to remove that reference. It is still there, 'Brandon is back...' within Marketwatch, if that is the one Lisa was referring to.

Hello! Thanks, David, for adding me.

I am grateful to the FP community here and elsewhere for having posted about Brandon Cifani. Do.char's questions and behavior tripped my intuition from the very beginning, so I felt vindicated when Google showed me the threads in three fp forums.

I hadn't joined this forum, as the focus is more on vintage pens and serious, technical discussions (this was my impression),

The thread in (at?) fpn is still there. Wim even suggested a way to contact eBay from Poland. Here's the link: Brandon Is Back, which was begun a year ago September.

I haven't checked eBay today yet (I explained to Brandon that his reputation was well-known in the fp community, so he must surely understand why I would not do business with him).

Anyway, my thanks to all who posted about this guy. You saved me some frustration and anger, I'm sure.

Post removed ( a report of a phone encounter with officials in Brandon' hometown) at request of the person who'd provided me the story.
