Our boy (or someone pretending to be him) is still at it and apparently quite full of himself. The B_Engineer account was linked to /r/bikeshop as well so this is probably him.

Weird thing is, he'd likely have made more during that time at minimum wage. They always are tough before they go to jail.

Nothing immediate. the "O/U" thing is a betting term. He continues to scam people, he will eventually get caught. I was implying that he will get caught within 5 years.

They are always tough before jail and they always find God in prison thru my profession also I learned everyone in jail claims innocents..

Names vary. Watching for certain characteristic grade school grammar and syntax errors is helpful. Mixing up plurals, contractions and possessives. Misspelling words as homonyms.  That sort.

Based on some current discussion on Reddit, it looks like our friend may still be active there. If it is him (not positive, as I'm not involved this time), he seems to have stepped up to using a mail forwarding service in Portland. Worth keeping an eye out for him.

I find it amusing that the first thread includes mention of building credibility as a trading partner, yet no one in the thread uses their real name. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I wouldn't do business with anyone not using their real name on the site. I use my name, and David uses his. I always think that someone's hiding something when they use some odd user name and not their real name, or at least put their name in a signature line.

There is a little matter of internet security - putting your actual name and mugshot out there is just tempting providence imo.
