Over the years people have asked what ink is best in a WAHL-EVERSHARP Pen. While many recommendations issued forth, with the introduction of the rebirth of the WAHL-EVERSHARP pens with their proprietary nibs and feed design, it was time to develop an ink with the best characteristics to suit these and the vintage pens as well. Te result is our own ink with a unique color that I love...WAHLBERRY.

We will "prermier" the ink at the Washington DC Pen Show this week! And, the ink is a freebie with the purchase of a pen!

Nice colour Sid, any pens you shouldn't put it in ? I'm a bit cautious about some of the heavily saturated inks and celluloid but this looks fairly safe.

I am not aware of any contraindications for this new ink. While rich and intense in color we stopped at a point where we belived any further concentrations of dyes could cause any ink flow issues. As is, it lasts well in the reservoirs of test pens, flushes well and does not cause staining in visualated barrels or sections of our pens. Plunger fillers and converter fillers worked nicely wit it. Of course our testing did not cover every situation. Being super cautious I suppose silicone sacs which stain easily anyway could absorb dye but the stain Is not such that i would expect such staining to affect the color of other ink colors used subsequently. Having said that, our new converter pens are so constructed to allow full force flush of the entire barrel and section with the converter removed.

Not sure that the full answer you are looking for but it's the best I can do at present.

Beautiful color, Syd. I'm looking forward to trying it in my black Doric #7 adjustable.
