Thanks for sharing, that clears up a lot.I just checked, and a Lady Duofold section fits in a 3rd gen Major barrel.
Just to share, This would have been another great deal of mine, if I wasn't outbid in the last couple seconds.

Then again, there's plenty of fish In the sea. Plus, I already have a 51 demonstrator.

That's interesting that the section fits. However, without a breather tube, which those sections aren't designed to accommodate, the pen wouldn't fill. It would be cool to see the one from the original post taken apart to see how the breather tube issue was handled.

I will try to take it apart as I'm curious of this also.
I have heard of breather tube holes being added in recent times to Senior Duofold comb feeds to fit in OS Vac pens, but it's hard to say how it was handled in this case.

It would be interesting to see how that would work and how the breather hole would be drilled to make it work and still get decent flow, without getting a flood.

Putting aside the section issue, I have had DF Senior Streamline (comb) feeds converted for Vacs. Two holes are drilled, one longitudinally and one perpendicular. I believe that the Vac feed and DF feed are identical otherwise.

Come to think of it, they probably just used a regular Vacumatic feed...
