Hi everyone
Hopefully this post isn't in wrong place, but figured might be more interest here than up at pen collecting/polemicizing.
Am no calligrapher & Speedball set only has 8, but they're nice for borders & filling in when doing cartoons.
What blew me away though was old 1957 article about Speedball brush with amazing 90" stroke! : 0 !
They used it on a mop handle for billboards? Or does "stroke" in this case mean it could hold that much ink? Never heard of 'stroke' referred to as ink capacity.

If at all interested, free PDF sharing site = very clunky interface. Click yellow "Slow Download" button of left or they will try to sell you something!
Opinions/comments welcome. Lately I've been so focused on collecting & history forgot *real* reason got into pens & dip nibs in the first place.
*Use* them!

Now off to go draw a man painting billboard w/giant speedball nib. Yes, his apprentice will probably get inked. ; )
