Hi there,

I recently bought this pen in along side with some more pens.  It is the only picture I have for now and unfortunately it is not good, but looks to be yellow or beige and the clip is not showing.

To my untrained eyes it looks to be a aerometric P51 in a strange color, am I correct?

Hi Vasco,

Could it be a Parker 41?

The colour looks strange indeed, at least on the picture. Could it be an over-exposed photo of a dove grey 51? Or cocoa?

The cap surely seems to be a P51 cap.

Could also be a "fantasy" 51 barrel?

Difficult to tell in the photo, but the clutch ring looks more 21 Super-ish than 51-ish.  I tried a 51 cap on my only 41.  The 51 window clutch doesn't fit over the 41 clutch ring.  41 has the 3-piece clutch ring found on the (early?) 21 Super; those pens have no cap clutch.  But the 41 has a 51 clip and a black jewel.  The lustraloy cap has a bright, lightly brushed finish and "41" below the clip.  Filler cover on mine says "Parker 41...use Parker ink."

I also consider the possibility of being a Parker look alike / copy from another European brand. I guess only when it arrives it will be possible to be sure of what it is....

I will update here once I get it.

Thank you David, Jos and matt!

There is an E Bay sell 'redrocket' who has started making 51 barrels and hoods.  He puts them on original parts.  I know he has sold a yellow and several other colours including orange and fuchsia.  He states clearly the hood and barrels are new but I don't know if they are marked 'repro,' as I have never purchased 1.

Hi Widget thank you!,

I believe this should not be the case. I bougth this pens to someone that is not a pen fan or expert and that has those pens for a long time. I am more inclined to a Parker copy cat from an old manufacturer or to a real Parker 51/41/21 with a bad picture, Keeping my fingers crossed as I like that color!!

Vasco  I don't for 1 minute think it is from 'red rocket'.  He charges £69.95 per pen and he's managing to sell a few.  I just thought if he manages to make hoods and barrels in the UK then someone else could have done the same in the past.

Based on the bright silver color of the clutch ring compared to the cap and clip, I would bet on a grey 51 with a GF cap.

The barrel and hood color are reminiscient of a Kullock 51 "cocoa" barrel and hood, which have always looked like pale beige to me.

I think he should call them Ovaltine instead of cocoa:)

It turns out it is a Hartman. I have no information about Hartman, so if any of you guys has heard of it and could share it here I would appreciate.

Some time we gamble and the bet does not pay... :(

The pens looks like a copy of the aerometric P51, with a different section.

Here are some pictures.
