I was watching these pens from the day they were put up for auction till' the end. I was going to put in my first bids 5 minutes before they ended, although I got up late and missed all three crybaby.gif . To make matters even worse, they all went for extremely low prices, especially the 51 and 61. Why did they go for so low? Do they look like Kullock's? I paid close to triple for my 51 demonstrator (including restoration), so these prices are painful to look at.

Sniping programs were just made for this. One can always lose out to a higher bidder, but there is no excuse to miss an auction. I feel your pain (though I know nothing about the relative worth of these pens), but you do need to avail yourself of the tools out there.

Sumgais happen. The 51 looks authentic as it has a clear connector.

These look to like Kullock pens.  Especially all sold at the same time by the same seller.  These would be some kind of Sumgai buys if original Parker creations.

The authenticated 51 Aerometric Demonstrators all seem to have Lustraloy  caps.  Note the 51 pencil being sold now has a clear cap, also not seen in authenticated 51 Jotters.

I think the lucite on these pens is too clear.  I have seen quite a number of offerings of Ariel Kullock clear demonstrator productions, and they don't appear aged like originals.

I think it's wonderful that some like Ariel Kullock have made the clear demonstrator replicas, giving more people the possibility of having such a reproduction pen like the originals.  We needn't be so credulous, however, as to believe they are original Parker demonstrators.  They are not so rare, not so valuable but you get to have the Parker demonstrator kind of experience, like people had back in the day.

I have an violet pink AK 51 fantasy aero double jewel demonstrator, and I think it's interesting, but not to be passed off as some "rare Parker demonstrator."  Enough people are familiar with AK's work that that isn't likely.  Those pens in the auctions went for about what they were worth, maybe.

I have two Kullock 51 demonstrators and neither one is very polished on the inside. Therefore neither are all that clear.  The reason I have two is because I complained about the one not being very clear and he sent another. It isn't all that great either but it is a little better.  I know the cap would be easy enough to change but his pens come with a clear cap.

I'd not be so skeptical about these.

The 45 and the 61 demonstrators are surely original and correct, as I've never seen anyone make repros.

The 51 demo might well have had its cap swapped. Not sure about the 51 ballpoint; English stuff was sometimes rather different.

There is also now a Snorkel listed.  I've not seen this one copied.

Someone may have gotten a good deal.

Look at his "about me" page and the it will clear they are all originals, one of the great names in the pen world was the sellers father...Arther Twydle.
