I got this pen from a seller on eBay. It was an odd turn of events quite honestly.  I had bid on what I found out later to be one of two she had.  I was really disappointed that I lost the first one by $2.50 (granted who knows how high the other person had bid).  I was thinking "man I hope the other person backs out and I get a second chance offer".  A few days later I had a message from the seller saying she had two of them and asked if I wanted it for my original high bid. As you can see below I JUMPED at the chance so fast it wasn't even funny.

According to her this was purchased out of the company store by a retired Parker employee.  Pictures are quick and dirty iPod photos, but I think it shows the pen fairly well.  It has a thick coat of red lacquer? maybe.  Silver section with a medium nib.  Overall it is in mint, never inked condition.  It's a pretty cool find for me to add into my growing falcon collection.

I didn't know that they were made in red/burgundy.

In fact, I think it's even classier that the regular steel ones.

I don't know the usual color range for these, but I did grab a jet black in the recent Janesville hoard.

It has a thick coat of red lacquer? maybe.  .

I would suspect the Epoxy finish that Parker was so fond of.
