I found this pencil at an antique store in Gruene TX - one of our favorite haunts from when we lived in San Antonio. A 20 dollar bill covered it so I had to get it.  I think it's a very handsome pencil.  I saw one like it on ebay, but it had a full moire pattern vs. this more "interrupted" pattern.  Of course I reached out to Jonathan on this one.  I'm keeping it in my perm collection - at least for now.  It even has some really old looking lead inside.  Enjoy!

Nice. For a minute I thought I had the pen to go with it but when I looked, mine had the solid pattern, not the interrupted one like yours.

I've seen both a pen and a pencil with the full pattern - a grand total of one each - but not this pattern.

I'm very excited, just found the matching pen today on ebay - $30 - It has an exactly matching clip and the "interruped" moire pattern - must be the match.  Looks to be in pretty good shape so anxious to get it and work on it.  I'll post it when its done.

I received and finished the matching pen for this pencil.  Makes a nice set.  Nib on the pen is not 14k, but it is original Morrison.  Will ink tomorrow and see how it does.  Still a handsome and unique set with the "Interrupted" Moire pattern.  Pencil found in TX, pen was from NJ.... like old friends being re-united....
