I bought a lot of desk sets and inkwells recently and among them was this one. I don't believe that the sockets are original to the base because the mounting nuts are thicker than the base itself. So, this may be a "frankenbase." The reason I'm posting it here is that the sockets are marked "Carter's." I don't collect Carter's pens or their desk sets, so I'm wondering if there is someone out there who can use these sockets, or the entire base.
I also have one jade green Carter's desk pen in great shape. It's available as well.
