More eBay shenanigans, I suppose, but a week ago, I figured I'd go out on a limb to snag what looked like a Snorkel Crest, possibly an early one via best offer. Not the best condition ever, but, it looked decent in the images and it looked to be a Snorkel, considering the listing and images.

Of course, it wasn't very assuring in the pics when it was unscrewed partially and no Snorkel tube was out. But, for sub $40, I figured, at worst, even for parts w/o the Snorkel assembly or if it were a Touchdown, selling it would at least break even.
Is that Snorkel tube...Gold? Time for a teardown and restoration.
Post restoration w/i all new sac&seals, and a light polish to the body...
Yup, an early/first year Snorkel Crest in rather nice shape.
