The black one is probably a Super 21 and the section is messed up...like someone decided to heat-shrink it. But it still writes when the nib is water-dipped...a dark blue or blue-black color.
The striped one has, well, no nib. And chips on the threads. But they're mine, all mine.
Hope I didn't pay too much. ;
Can anyone tell me more?

The striped one is a striped Duofold made in the 40s. Looks to be one of the lower trim models with a button filler. Some came with button fillers and others came with Vacumatic fillers.
The black one does look like a Super 21 with a very shrunken hood.
You should be able to find a hood for the Super 21 and a nib for the Duofold pretty readily. Good Luck!

Yes, the Duofold is definitely a button-filler.
Now how on earth would someone manage to shrink a hood like that? 0_O and is that why the feed doesn't fit?
Thanks!
I always liked the blue striped Duofolds of that era. Nice coloring.
The 21 line was burdened with lower grade plastic (not sure if it was DuPont or other) than the 51 line. The 21 plastic is prone to cracking and deforming rather easily.
