What size is #6? The same as a long slender?

#6 essentially is the size of a Standard Vacumatic or Challenger. As fat as the Junior (proper) Parker Vacumatic (#1) and at least as long as the 'long' Slender Junior #2. Probably a bit longer.

It is of course, formally, not a Parker. Or is it?

david

It didn't even cross my mind as being able to be "Standard" size since I think of Golden Webs as Junior sized pens, but you're right, it's not really Parker proper...

Great pen. Think I was underbidder. It would look nice next to my rare wide gold-filled-band version ;)

Maybe we can get them together for a family portrait some day.

I am a complete novice with these pens, they are pretty, and one day I will hold one in my hand. Great collection! Thank you!

I have no comments other than general drooling, especially on the gold filled band.

I just got this a couple days ago. I think I win the (non-existent) contest for worst Golden Web! It's a Diamond Point lever filler, nib reads New Diamond Deluxe. I was under the impression that while 'Diamond Medal' was related to Parker, 'Diamond Point' was not, is that right? If so, I wonder how they got the plastic.

Hi,

Yes, we believed Diamond Point (vs the rebadged-for-Sears Parker-made Diamond Medal) has no connectiong to Parker. But, the plastic did pop up.

Let's up the ante.

Ah, nice! I've lost out on at least one of those on eBay. I like how the trim echos the pattern of the plastic.
