Probably a present from her parents in the late '30's when she either turned 18 or left to go nursing ( too late to find out now), I remember her using it into the early 1970's. A little pen at 4.5".

This one has a neat twist, an 18ct adjustable No.3 nib

I assume originally destined for the French/European market so how it ended up here is unknown, some say 18ct nibs don't flex as well as 14ct....this one proves that wrong but then Wahl where "the masters of flex" in their day !!

 18k is uncommon on Wahls.  Looks like that pen saw serious use during its span.  Should be put back to work :)
