HI All,

I have become captivated the bright beautiful of the Conklins during the Flattop Endura era. So Far I have a collection of ring tops in Black , Red (Orange), Sapphire, Bronze & Black, Rosewood, and Blue-Green Verde. All these are single cap band variants. I know there is a Yellow-Green Verde ( I have a pencil as an exemplar of the color, but would be interested in the pen if anyone has one they would like ro sell). My question is are there anyother colors out there that I' m missing? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Greg

Hi Greg,

Black and pearl, though a double band model.

Hugh

I don't know if they ever made a ring-top, but there was also the Imperial color, which is a very dark blue with bronze.  They never made a Senior sized pen in this color for some reason, and I don't remember seeing a ring-top, but there could have been one.  The Imperial looks very much like the black and bronze at first glance.

Never seen one either but a distinct possibility, would be a hard one to find as well.

Thanks for the input guys. I've seen the black and pearl but only with the double band. I've never seen the Imperial but it sounds that it would a very nice color.

Greg,

Here is a picture showing both the bronze and black and the imperial color. I already had it in the gallery.  Starting from the right in this picture, there is a Sr. pen, a Sr. mechanical pencil, and another Sr. pen - all in Bronze and Black.  The next pen to the left is a mash-up, with an Imperial barrel and a black and bronze cap. The next is a pencil and pen set in Imperial.  The Imperial color never appeared in the Sr-sized pens.  You often have to hold the pen up to a light to tell the difference between Imperial and bronze and black.

Thanks for the photos, it's nice to see the Endura colors all lined up like this. It would be nice if the ring tops were made in Imperial color, I love the blue and gold combination.

1. I hate that I've now seen the Imperial

2. It is unfair for Allan to have duplicates.
