Picked up this circa ~ 1940 lighted store display sign. Neon spinner. Hefty.

I remember seeing that one. How is it, condition-wise?  Does it work?

It worked fine when shipped. The neon bulb shattered in-transit. Fortunately, NYC has one of the premier Neon makers/fixers down on 27th st or so, near the West Side Highway. Industrial thing, yet with artisans doing hand work.  I had the bulb redone, had a diffuser put in, and since they were into it anyway, had an upgraded modern power pack installed.

Condition otherwise was fine save for the obvious chipping to the paint on the sign.

Great sign. I love these dealer display items.

Could you post a video? Would be cool to see the sign, lighted up and moving and all.

Always some interest in such things. I think I have one advert printer's block, though a fairly modest one.
