Hope you can help me!

What 'official' color would this English Parker 17 be?

I've searched several sites and cannot find an exact match. I got it in a lot of five mixed user-grade pens.

The color apears deep red or burgundy (lighter than on a modern Hero 616).

Cap is silvertone with narrow vertical grooves, the arrow is goldtone, clutch ring appears to be black plastic and the cap jewel matches the body color.

Sorry for the awful cell phone picture, and thanks for your help!

I don't know whether the duotone cap/arrow is a 17 feature....Frankenpen? Or what?

Hi Sailer,

Not sure I can help on this one. Very dark pic.  Putting image into Photoshop and cranking up the brightness, it does look burgundy.

Hi,
This is a shot of my Parker 17 deluxe set.
yours appears to be the silver plate cap instead of the gold plate.

Your pen is not a frankenpen as they were sold this way.

Unfortunatley I can`t tell if yours is the same colour as mine from your picture.

Hope this helps.

Because your picture is GOOD!

Thanks for the shot. In real life, my 17 appears very similar.
