100 % original Parker Duofold fountain pen, from the 1996 Limited Edition dedicated to the world-known American artist Normal Rockwell. His signature is imprinted (characteristic white lettering) on cap side, and a golden medal with his portrait is proudly set on the cap flat top.
Highest quality resin cap and body, not only strong and durable, but also beautiful design of black whirl over ivorish marble colour; this is made from a solid bar, handturned on the lathe, so each pen is really unique since the pattern cannot be repeated.
Golden trims, but solid gold rings (hallmarked so in the section ring closest to the body, please see picture) in this LE of 3500 pieces (this is xx18/3500).
This pen came originally with a standard M nib, but I asked the Parker workshop chief to exchange it for a calligraphic 94 nib (marked on the feed underside), that is, a medium italic. Of course, it is an original 18K Parker Duofold nib, which moreover was specially adjusted for perfect smoothness and wetness by Parker itself, according to my wishes.Of course, if you prefer any other nib size your local Parker retailer will be willing to exchange this nib for any other Duofold nib of the usually available point sizes (starting at EF), free of charge.
From my own unused personal collection, so mint condition (please note: only dipped once to confirm its gorgeous calligraphic writing qualities, so I am sure of what I sell, then thoroughly cleaned and stored back) . You might find some sign of long storage, but absolutely nothing else. No flaw nor damage nor blemish. I bought it (new old stock, absolutely mint then as now) from Sacristán (Madrid) in 1997, and have been its first and only owner.
Comes complete with original Parker converter (highest Parker level, "Deluxe" turning knob type), and Parker PenMan 12 cartridges: 2 Mocha (brown), 4 Ebony (black) and 6 Sapphire (blue).
