Long Island #97 is where the clip is in need.

Vintage parts are not so easy to find but you can always look for a dead cap with a good clip on the good ole bay. Failing that as your last resort, try this "Chilton reproduction clip". Not cheep (they're $30) but they are decent replacement if you don't find a vintage clip to match your pen and want to have it complete. (Nb. no affiliation with the seller, posted just for information).

I think he is good. I believe I sent him one, lol....

 

I still got to send out a waterman slip cap ring for a taperite. but the parts are out there for the asking
