I SECOND THE MOTION! SF PEN SHOW WAS THE MOST FUN I HAVE HAD AT A PEN SHOW, PERIOD!

Everyone received the royal treatment by the hosts/promotors of the pen show. We were also treated to a full breakfast on Sunday in such a deluxe fashion, plus entertainment with a band on Friday night which included drink coupons, 4 drink coupons! Thursday evening we had a welcome wine/cheese event, and even Saturday morning was a continental breakfast!

Thank you Syd, Todd, and Ricki for making the San Francisco Pen Show the best with the amenities, the wonderful hotel, the location, the low stress everyone felt by your excellent/welcoming demeanors but also the excellent crowds that showed up to buy and trade/talk pens! Definitely a "techie" crowd with Silicon Valley and computer people coming!

Go to my website www.gregminuskin.com and see the pictures of the show, the food, and the fun!

Thank you and I will be back next year 100%!

I thought the hookers by the pool were a really charming touch.

I can't weigh in without the disclaimer that I've been to so few shows, but... YEAH!

The kids rocked the town with this one. As it gets bigger and better, as it surely will, the show will follow in the footsteps of this one as combining great pen time with great people time. I loved all the touches, from the band and drinks on Friday night to the breakfasts and mid-day munchies, the tables in the middle of the room, a well-lit, open space (that simply must be packed to the gills next year!)

I had plenty of opportunity to spend time with friends near and far, not the least of which was a couple of very nice visits with Paul Erano, joining the new mag list, becoming inducted into the BPS (along with, on the last day, spying the next Black Pen and getting from him a lovely little Goldfink). I took the opportunity to reach out and meet some of the pen people I've known by name and face but was too shy to say hello, and once again got great education in many areas, not the least of which was a spectacular nib grind from Mike Masuyama.

Wow. It was so far beyond worth the 9-hour-each-way drive that I'd go again next weekend.

I love this stuff.
