Jake Leventhal has the correct colored band that you can replace on your cap

Ariel,

not 100% if you know, the top of the cap should "unthread" on the ripple pens.

Best!

Rick

Well, I have the next best thing, I have  available  a Red #7 Key hole nib, but you probably want to finish a Green #7 instead.

If you can get me a material of the correct color I can machine the ring in my lathe for you easily at no cost.

Let me know.

I don't think you got what I was trying to communicate in my original post....

above the rings, the cap unthreadsthe small ripple part, you can swap the rings out

that Jake Leventhal sells. (the color rings, and the white dividers)

you can take your 7 cap and make it any color it needs to be.

pending you have a 7 cap with the incorrect color bands.

If you are missing a 7 cap, well... that doesn't work.

Rick,

I understood you well, the problem here is the complete cap, it belongs to another pen. If I find an original cap for the # 7 Red Ripple it would not be such a problem to change the ring.

My problem is the whole cap.

And thank you for your precision.

Maybe my first request was not clear but my search is for a cap that goes with the # 7 Red Ripple, the cap I have do not correspond with the nib and barrel I have. And Jake has not a complete cap for the moment. Anyway thanks for your interest.

Best

Ariel,

Is your cap at least a #7 Ripple cap?  Does it have any color band at top?

No, it is not, that is why I am looking for a complete # 7 Red Ripple cap even if it is not Green...

Looks like marcshiman has the same problem.  He is asking about it in the Waterman forum.  You probably have a 55 barrel - they are a perfect fit.
