If you care to follow this link

http://www.bespokebr...conway-stewart/

you will see where many of the CS pens, branded packaging and bits & pieces from the auction must have ended up. It seems Alastair hasn't totally given up on Conway Stewart just yet, if you read the blurb. Sadly, they have just lazily recycled most of the old marketing crap as 'Our History'. Plus ça change, plus ça la même chose....

Andy

It doesn't look like they are the type to get thier hands dirty making pens.

Looks aren't everything! But at least you can be sure that they have access to people who actually know how to make & QC pens properly - and in the UK as well.

Meanwhile, the Onoto website remains in need of an update, and there have been no newsletters by David for over a year. Maybe they should focus more on the bird in hand. The one in the bush seems to be incapable of flight. Cheers from the colonies, and a Merry Christmas to all.

The seller who is running this on ebay seems to be moving on an assortment of the auction items:

I somehow think whoever is bidding on this item is going to be disappointed, or am I undervaluing the book of quotes that I regarded as a bit of marketing nonsense.

£56?  Blimey, someone is bonkers.  I had a book of quotes of WSC, and it didn't cost anything like that.

People are strange!

Thank you Andy !!

I've now found the ugliest most over priced writing implement in the world....a Jack Row !! Both models are so hideous I can decide which is less horrendous..

Regards

Hugh
