Here we are a pair of pretty pens that I bought for their looks.  The one on the left carries no maker's name, just "Vacuum Oil Co Inc. Gargoyle Marine Oils"  Its nib was gold and stamped 'Hayes Co'; it was a horrid nib and lost its tips anyway.  The other pen is called a Justrite and had a foul corroded steel nib which went into the bin.

Both pens are now fitted with Swan No 2 nibs and work well.  I am impressed both with the materials (especially the lovely onyx of the Gargoyle) and the fact that the plating is in first-class condition.
