Found a Waterman in my desk, then looked for other pens I had purchased over the last several decades.
Trying to identify and value each one I found this from a post in 2007:

Deep from within the pen-stash & out into the light comes a real beauty from Pilot that was actually produced in 1976...the Custom "Silvern" series FP with the "Dragon" relief on the cap & barrel...
Although the pen is still made today, the older version has a definitely stronger, more intricate Dragon relief...if I remember correctly, Pilot changed the company they outsourced their silversmithing with at some point in time, hence the difference in the patterns between the current Namiki versions and the older Pilot ones. The Namiki versions are still beautiful, but still come in a distant second to the original Pilot patterns (in my humble opinion!)...
The specifics...
Sterling Silver cap & barrel, silverplated clip, 18K "Fine' inlaid nib (imprinted with date code T376, which means March 1976, cartridge/converter fill (comes with squeeze converter), "Dragon" relief on cap & barrel with oxidation in the detail to highlight the design, spring-loaded clip imprinted PILOT (current one says NAMIKI & has "ball" end), absolutely excellent condition from top to bottom (I have babied this beauty!), no flaws or problems with barely any surface-wear even after being around for over 30 years, original Blue clamshell box with white outer cardboard slip-cover..."
So I believe I have the same pen with a marking of H382. Is that a date code?
I'd be interested in learning the current value, but I don't want to sell it.
