Alright alright, did anyone in here end up with the Ripley's Vacumatic? I bid wayyy past my budget and still got beat. Good fight out there. Congrats.

I bid way out of my budget, too, and got beat.  Would love to own it.  I'm going to have to keep enjoying the one I've got.  The top of the my pen's cap is exploded, but I got it for $900 less than this one sold for.

 

The pen being discussed in OP is pictured below and sold at $942.55

I have one with a Vacumatic imprint, but unfortunately I do not have a cap.. JonSzanto, I know, right? Saved a $1000 :)

I was beaten too, but I've bet just for the sport, I knew it will have gone for such a price.

Very nice pen, anyway.
