How do you know it's for French market? I have the same model, unfortunatelly imprints faded, set with pencil in jade green. I bought mine in Poland and at least on pencil there is only Hardtmuth imprint.

I bought this pen from France and the nib is 18 carat gold, as required by the French market. In other countries have sold their pens with 14 carat nibs. Here is one such: http://www.penboard....ton&db_seller=0
