I spotted this little Parker "Moderne" (in quotes because it's US made and not marked as such) on eBay a little while ago and won the auction extremely cheaply.  I think it's neat, so I wanted to share.  Anyone else have experience with Thrift Pens with advertisement on them?

Brian, this is a good find. This is the first example of advertisement on a $3.50 pen that I've seen. Solid color $3.50 pens are extremely had to come by as well, making this a sort of double hitter. Congrats on the find.

I've seen several Buster Brown pencils, never pens though. Mind you a pencil may have been more useful for marking paper in the shoe business.

Forgot to add nice grab Brian. My dad has a Transoceanic radio, Zenith made some serious stuff back in the day.

I recall seeing Buster Brown marked something or others, but I cannot remember what.  Suspect it must have been a thrift pencil given the comments.  Thanks for the compliments.  At $23 shipped to my door, I figured I couldn't go wrong!
