It's a vintage Kaweco Dia. Perhaps an 85?
How long is the pen?

Hello,
this Kaweco Dia is I guess due to the shape from the aera about 1940.
The Kaweco Dia would produced at this time in three dimensions:
- Nr. 83 Damenformat (lady size)
- Nr. 85 Normalformat (standard size)
- Nr. 86 Grossformat (larger size)
but unfortunately I don't have any measurements. So it is not possibel
for me to say what size you have. Green marbled is one of the colors
that were available for the model Dia.
Later they changed the sizes and four dimensions were available.
- instead of Nr.86 the biggest model were Nr. 90
and between 86 and 90 there was a model Nr. 89 "senior size"
Best regardsWerner

The following pen turned up in a collection recently acquired. Piston filling seemingly of celluloid or similar plastic. Looks older than some I see on modern retail websites?
Info would be appreciated.

Here is a Kaweco Dia close to yours only black and a double cap band. It is almost 5" capped and is inscribed "Kaweco- Dia" and on the turning knob "85".
Here is a Kaweco with a single decorated band. Also 5". No inscriptions except "Kaweco" on the clip.
Unlike the one below, the two above have gold-like Kaweco medallions on the top of their caps. The one below, also just under 5" has a Kaweco insignia like yours on the clip, one cap band and a color, though not yours, is in a similar style. The barrel is inscribed "Transparent [line 1] Kaweco fabrikat" [line 2]. The turning knob is inscribed "3000"
