Hi all,

I'm looking for a Parker 51 desk pen, suitable to be housed in a Whitefriars Glass spherical pen base. Ideally the all-black type rather than the one with the gold tip.

I'm happy to rehome a beaten up pen as I don't have a large budget!

I can probably help you out with this.  I'll let you know when I get home from work this evening.

Thanks Brian!

There's no rush - it's not a desk pen emergency :)

Sorry, all I've got is ones with gold ends.  And 21s.

I think I can help you. Just picked one up last weekend, Aero, black, it's soaking now. I've yet to open it up and check the internals. Will try to send a photo later today.

It's in fine shape internally. Though it seems to have a Vac "51" feed with a Vac length (short), "Teflon" breather tube. No vent hole in the tube. I don't have a correct feed available. I'm putting in an appropriate length Teflon tube with a vent hole. Pictures still to come.

Greg,

The plastic tube and feed are likely correct.

Thanks Farmboy, Is that a late "51" feature or deskpen or some reason unknown?
