RIP Leonard Nimoy.   I saw my first Star Trek episode during its original run, on a tiny black and white TV, when I was age 3. I actually recall seeing a commercial for it and asking, "That's a space show. Can I watch?". My parents encouraged me. Nimoy. Great actor. Lent his strength to many good causes. The show-- perhaps a tad campy in retrospect-- truly was groundbreaking. I'm sure he used a good fountain pen.

A man with a (seemingly) deep spirit who also maintained a light heart. Will be missed.

I just hope God asks Leonard to do the Macarena with him, Andy Warhol, and luscious women. James Doohan and Deforest Kelly can join him at the bar afterwards for drinks.

I saw Mr. Nimoy years ago at a wedding of a relative in Los Angeles 30 years ago. I was so excited but kept my cool for I always knew, and the 15 years I lived in the L.A. area, there is an unwritten rule when you are a "local" of Hollywood; if you see a movie star, just smile, don't bother them and they will respect you. For years I practiced this position and met up, and became friends with many of them, and some are still today clients of mine.  In my phone I have their names as cartoon characters just for added protection so when they call, I talk to Yosemite Sam, Tweedy Bird, Tom and Jerry, etc.
