Given my wee-dabbler status in Balancedom, I'm rather proud of this mini-collection. Kudos if you recognize what is interesting.

Shouldn't they have a white dot in the cap? :) Are the nibs lifetime?

This is a day-of-the-week set.  I'm told that each of the pens shown was only made on a single weekday.  They are in order M-Tu-W-Th-F.  Apparently the green was only made on Saturday and because of this is hard to find.

funny you mention him. i actually met him at a swap meet recently in san diego--was hoping to find a nice pen among the mounds of glorious junk there, but came only only with an esterbrook for $12; i did buy a $2 measuring tape from dave hester, just for the novelty of it ;)

I misread "mini collection" and thought at first I was looking at a collection of small size Balances, early to mid 30s. If they had a name, I'd like to know what it was.

I'm sure there's a Petite, which is only maybe 4" and slender in girth and the Junior of course at about 4 3/4" with standard girth. But there's a neat little pen of about 4 1/2" with standard girth. Being a little shorter than a Junior, yet with standard girth, it's shape makes it look like a "mini" Oversize pen.
